Tina Bell is the God Mother of Grunge Music. Her sound shook the mid to late 80s with her new garage sound. With her being the originator, Tina Bell never got recognition in Seatlle during this time period because black people were heavily oppressed during this time period in music. Once the 90s came around, a lot of grunge/garage bands started popping up in the Seattle scene taking the very sound Tina Bell rose from the ashes.
